As one of the co-founders of IXB and Barry’s UK, Sandy is established as one of the UK’s most influential fitness people. His Barry’s classes sell out weeks in advance and, having led the boutique fitness trend in this country, his opinions on the health and wellbeing scene are sought by brands across the country.
A fitness, tennis, sub aqua and football instructor, over the last decade Sandy has trained everyone, from complete first-timers to supermodels, A-list celebrities and special forces soldiers. In case anyone tried to accuse him of taking it easy, he also spent four years covering elite sport as a correspondent for The Daily Telegraph and, briefly, The New York Times, before partnering with his brother James to bring Barry’s Bootcamp to the UK.
Sandy lives in north London with his wife Erika and their two sons Guille and Leo.
